A shared audit is a scheduled audit that is performed by Intertek on behalf of several of your customers. The shared audit combines different customer requests into one audit. Consequently, common services and areas are audited only once. We can extend the scope of the audit, which means that more products are audited in this single audit.
A shared audit saves you time by avoiding multiple customer audits.
Each customer represented by Intertek may ask for specific questions, which will be kept confidential and communicated only to the client concerned. A customer participating in a shared audit does not know the name of the other participating clients.
Each client will receive a report tailored to their products, containing answers to their specific questions. A shared audit offers each of your clients a quality and relevant audit covering the same requirements as an individual audit.
One of your clients can join the audit during its entire life cycle. We adapt to different requests. After the audit, your client can request an existing audit report purchase.

No. As soon as a customer requests to join an audit, Intertek will contact you to validate with you if they can participate in the audit and verify with you the products involved.
Intertek will not accept any client on an audit without your prior written permission. We will never share any information without your express consent and respect your confidentiality guidelines.

If you request a shared audit for your site, Intertek takes care of everything. We manage the communication and documentation with your clients for the organization of the audit.
All your customers’ audits are performed on the same day and your teams are less disturbed. Common services and processes are audited only once.
If we represent 10 of your customers, you avoid 9 audits and therefore save at least 9 days.
We will always ask for your approval on the list of customers to be represented by Intertek during the shared audit. The audit agenda will be sent to you before the audit.

After an audit on your site has been performed, a client may request the purchase an existing audit report, especially if you do not have a date available for a new audit in the time period requested.
Intertek creates a new audit report specific to this customer, containing only its products and ensuring confidentiality with other customers. Once validated, this specific and adapted report will be sent to the customer.
Intertek always asks for your approval before starting an existing audit report purchase process and checks which products were covered.
By approving the purchase of existing audit reports, you act directly as an eco-responsible company, contributing to the reduction of on-site travel. Each report purchase avoids one trip. Since the creation of the shared audit activity, Intertek has avoided 7500 trips in 15 years.
If a company wishes to participate in an audit or to purchase the report of an audit already performed, we always ask for your consent and will validate together the scope.
We will never share any information without your express consent and respect your confidentiality guidelines. Intertek will not accept any client on an audit without your prior written permission.
Customers participating in an audit or purchasing a report have no information about other clients represented in the audit and do not have access to the other client-specific requirements and responses.
If you wish, Intertek can have any client participating in the audit or purchasing an audit sign a CDA. We take care of everything for you.

As a third party, we remain independent of the audited site to avoid any potential conflict of interest.
